Customer Service Officer -State Government

Randstad is currently recruiting Customer Service Officers for a well known and reputable Government Department.

These roles are based in both the Southern and Northern suburbs as well as CBD. Successful applicants will commence immediately, assignments up to 3 months are available with a high view for extension. The days of work will be Monday-Friday, full time hours between 8am and 5.30pm. Hourly Rate $37-39. The successful applicants will already hold a current WWCC. If you have a Customer Service, Reception and or administration background, have strong Microsoft Office skills and are a people person, we encourage you to contact us today.

The Role:

What you will do:

• High level advisory and issue resolution
• High level administrative tasks duties
• Provide guidance to queries
• Interpret customer information
• Generate and maintain appropriate records and documentation
• Undertake information and records management processes, updates and reviews

Essential Experience/skills:

• Experience in dealing with high volume calls
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Strong background in customer service (face to face and over the phone)
• Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Windows based PC environment
• Strong alpha and numerical data entry skills
• Professional phone manner
• Ability to problem solve and learn new technologies
